EJE LAW welcomed Attorney Ki Su Kim in September 2023.

Attorney Ki Su Kim has held several key positions at the National Pension Service (NPS), including Director of National Litigation at the Ministry of Justice, Head of the Litigation Team at the Public Procurement Service (PPS), and Fund Manager. In these roles, he has handled a wide range of legal advisory and litigation matters, as well as policy-related responsibilities. In particular, while at the PPS, he oversaw more than 3,000 cases of litigation and written legal opinions. At the Ministry of Justice, he played a leading role in managing over 12,000 state litigation cases (in which the Republic of Korea was a party), and 40,000 administrative cases annually, with a total claim value of approximately KRW 9 trillion per year. As the government’s authorized final decision-maker, he exercised full authority over critical litigation actions, including the initiation of lawsuits, appeals, and consents to settlement.

At EJE LAW, Attorney Ki Su Kim is expected to provide highly specialized legal services in the areas of public procurement, state litigation, and administrative litigation, drawing on his 13 years of extensive experience in the public legal sector.
